OVERVIEW: Morningside Nature Preserve is a fantastic urban forrest with the South Fork of Peachtree Creek passing through the middle (you’ll cross over the creek on a fantastic suspension bridge). This is an extremely popular park and you will always see dog walkers, hikers and occasionally mountain bikers. There are lots of side trails to explore, but many will dead-end in back yards. Because there are multiple trail entrances to this park, it is a great one to run through as part of a longer run.
TRAILS: 2+ total, best course is a 1.75 mile lollypop with 240 feet of elevation gain
TERRAIN: Mix of boardwalk, stairs, packed dirt, sand, rocks and roots
BATHROOMS: No
WATER: Yes
PARKING: Free, but crowded on nice weekends and holidays
HOURS: 6AM-11PM, though there are no gates on this park

Great map and route. I ran it and loved it… Never would have known it was there if you hadn’t posted it. Thanks!
